I'm sure most of you already know the story of "Two Tone." Reggae and punk were the music the youth were listening too, and it wasn't long before bands were fusing these two genres together. Some bands decided to take it to another level, and fused ska and punk instead of reggae...
There were ska bands before the "two tone era," and there were certainly ska bands in countries outside of England...but the WORLD was paying attention to England, and because of that, it was these English bands that helped bring ska back into the limelight and really spread it across the world. Not all of the bands featured today are on the "Two Tone" record label, but they were part of the Two Tone Army that helped bring this beat back.
